Free Bingo

Everywhere you look today there’s absolutely tons of free bingo games - it’s a glorious place to be right now if you’re a big fan of online bingo, and are partial to a few games of free bingo!
Some days befor for instance, Virgin Bingo were holding penny bingo games all day long - which is virtually free bingo. If you’re feeling the effects of the credit crunch with the rest of us, then free bingo games and penny bingo games are definitely the way forward for internet bingo sites in the UK. And I know that generally online bingo games have become incredibly cheap of late, with 5p and 10p tickets the norm, for some pretty hot cash prizes too, but it does all add up.
So when an opportunity comes along where you can play free bingo all day and all night long, then we jump right in!
Another great online bingo site recently launched is Cheeky Bingo - the great thing about these guys is that they have 3 whole rooms dedicated to nothing but free bingo games. Again, you don’t have to spend a single penny, you can play free bingo til the cows come home plus you get to win cash prizes too.
Not surprisingly, the bingo rooms at Cheeky Bingo are jam-packed full with a very lively crowd of bingo fans, and some people have actually managed to win quite a fair bit just by playing free bingo online!

Exciting Game on Sunday

WINKBINGO.COM LAUNCHES EXCLUSIVE 'PLAY OFF' BETWEEN NORTH AND SOUTH TO WIN A MINI COOPER

Wink Bingo is proud to announce that for the first time ever, two dedicated bingo fans will decide their own fate by choosing their own lucky numbers to take part in an online bingo 'play off' for a chance to speed off in a brand new Mini Cooper.

People will be able to log on to Winkbingo.com at 8:30pm on Sunday 22nd February to watch the North South divide as Joanna Kane from Werneth, Oldham in Lancashire and Christine Tulley from Toot Hill, Swindon in Wiltshire battle it out for a brand new set of wheels.

Joanna, 36 and mum of two, couldn't believe her luck when she was told she was one of the two joint winners out of 8,000 players who took part in Winkbingo.com's Mini Cooper bingo game on New Year's Day. "I've never won anything in my life," gushed Joanna, "luck just doesn't happen to me, but if I play with my lucky numbers 9 and 11 on Sunday, the day I passed my driving test and my kids' birthdays, I may be proven wrong!"

Joanna originally fell in love with Winkbingo.com last October and hasn't looked back. "Winkbingo.com gives me the perfect opportunity to take a break from work, house-hold chores and the kids," says Joanna, "especially since I can play in the comfort of my own living room. Winkbingo.com's chat hosts are really friendly and their individual games are great fun too, I've even made some great new friends."

Christine Tulley, 51, mum of two and grandma of three had been playing for six months - she was often on a winning streak winning a string of small prizes which really spurred her on to keep playing, so much so that she too became an overjoyed winner out of 8,000 players, in the New Years Day Mini Cooper game. I always believed that magic could happen to me at Winkbingo.com, says Christine, "let's just hope the tarot reader who gave me my lucky numbers, 1,7, 8, 17, 35 and 44 really is for real and I may just get to win the Mini Cooper in Sunday's game!"

Christine has been a fan of online bingo ever since she began working at the local bingo hall where she remained for 15 years. "It's expensive to go to bingo halls now though" says Christine, "and why bother when you can stay at home and have even more fun playing bingo online with Winkbingo.com? It's such a fun and friendly site and really easy to use too. I feel secure with Winkbingo.com and love the fact that I can chat so much to other bingo fans too."

Whether choosing to don their heels and coats to play their favourite game in bingo halls or choosing to relax in their pyjamas and slippers to play online, up until now bingo players have been given a card full of numbers and their chance of shouting "full house" has been left entirely to lady luck.

Maurice Karpes, Marketing Director at Winkbingo.com says, "The fact that we are allowing our two lucky players to choose their own numbers and play a part in their own fate makes our exclusive Mini Cooper game so exciting. We've also created a way for friends and family to watch so that they can offer their support, we're sure other bingo fans will be interested too - may the luckiest player win!"

Foxy Bingo and Kristina Rihanoff

The wily Mr Foxy, loveable mascot of popular online bingo site Foxy Bingo, has somehow managed to bag the beautiful Kristina Rihanoff as his partner in his funny dance video to support the Comic Relief charity on Red Nose Day.
Kristina is one of the gorgeous professional dancers featured on Strictly Come Dancing, and the talented lady accepted Foxy’s proposal when he asked her to Do something Funny for Money with him for Red Nose Day.
If you browse to the Foxy Bingo site you’ll see the poor girl is given more than her fair share of the cheeky Foxy antics as she tries to teach him the 70’s disco style dance moves. However all’s fair in love, war and bingo, and they both come out sparkling in the dance video with a great performance.
The aim of the Foxy Bingo Red Nose Day campaign is to raise a massive £150,000 for the Comic Relief charity, who to help disadvantaged people in the UK and also those abroad in Africa.
For the next 6 weeks Foxy Bingo will be holding special bingo games where every £1 you spend on bingo tickets will be matched by the online bingo site and donated to the charity - so keep an eye out for these special bingo games so that you can help Foxy Bingo reach the target.
The special charity bingo campaign culminates in a huge bingo game on March 13, when the jackpot will be an incredible £50,000! Just for one little bingo game - it’s an astounding amount! Be sure to pre-purchase your bingo tickets for this huge event, and remember every £1 you spend will be matched by Foxy for this great cause.
You should also check out the Foxy Dance video at the online bingo site, Foxy Bingo - it’s very funny, and in the end you have to admit that this sly dog of a Fox actually can dance pretty well! Kristina recommends trying out the dance moves at home, says it’s a great way to keep fit!
So that’s at least 3 worthy things accomplished when you play bingo online at Foxy Bingo - help a worthy charity, get fit for the summer, and play bingo too! LOL

William Hill bingo site

William Hill Bingo have made quite a drastic change to their Welcome Bonus for new members of the bingo site. It’s gone from £10 free up to a whopping £25 Free!
Since launching 2 years ago, their first year in the online bingo market was incredibly low profile. But this all changed last summer, when the bingo site went wild with a huge marketing campaign in conjunction with MSN that splashed their banners all over the internet, and even in MSN Messenger too. The William Hill Bingo new players bonus had changed to a massive £20 Free – possibly the biggest bingo bonus available at the time!
Public reaction was massive, I mean you can’t miss when you go all the way with MSN – every which way you looked you saw ‘£20 Free at William Hill Bingo’ - it truly was a successful bingo advertising campaign that placed the bingo site firmly on the map of online bingo UK.
At the end of 2008, the bingo site downgraded the bingo bonus to a more standard £10 Free, I believe this happened at about the same time they changed their affiliate marketing company.
Even more recently the £10 Free bonus became conditional upon a qualifying deposit, bingo fans needing to deposit at least £10 into their bingo accounts to receive £10 Free Cash Match. In our opinion this didn’t do much for their appeal as an online bingo site, especially when other bingo sites were giving out £15 or even £20 Free without requiring a deposit.
Although the intentions were good, obviously negative effects were felt within the bingo site too, paving the way for another drastic change, but a clever one too. Within the last couple of days, William Hill Bingo have again changed their Welcome Bonus, there’s a hint of the old and also a hint of the new, perhaps this will become the best of both worlds for the bingo site: £25 Free if you deposit and play £5 within 24 hours of signup.
The new £25 Free bonus is sure to be a hit. It’s a lot of free bingo money, possibly the biggest freebie for bingo UK players at the moment. So it definitely scores high on the appeal factor. The clever thing is that the conditional £5 deposit and play seems like such a minor issue in comparison, I’m sure more bingo fans will be tempted than not to take William Hill Bingo up on this pretty generous welcome bonus offer – especially now that their bingo site is looking so hot

Choosing Your Bingo Wagers

The following article can be useful for everyone. It's written by Charlene Grey for BingoStreet.com – the top UK resource for bingo online and bringing you the best bingo promotions.

Bingo is not like traditional online gambling. A video poker machine or slot machine has a certain amount you play per line. You also have the poker tables that require a couple of bets during the game. When you play bingo online wagers you have an entrance fee into the game. Once you get into the game you are required to spend a little more to get the bingo cards you will play. Let’s break this down a little further to help you understand how to chose your bingo wagers.
Under the 75 ball bingo section you might find 5p, 50p, and up to £1 in order to gain entrance into a bingo game. These are the bingo wagers you must pay and this is the area you have some control over how much you spend while you play bingo online.
You may already have worked out how much money you want to spend in a month on bingo wagers. This is often figured out based on your income and expenses that you have in your daily life. The bingo wagers are extraneous money you put towards hobbies. In a month you might have £100 left over after all expenses are paid. You decide of that £100 you want to spend £20 a month for online bingo, plus some of the winnings you may earn. For example you might decide to play 20% of any winnings you earn and keep the rest.
If you have £20 to spend and you know you want to play at least 2 games of bingo online each night, then you can’t spend £1 a game, you’d need to wager 50p or less on your bingo games. In fact the 5p game might be more to your liking because you can play more than 62 games of bingo online each month at this rate.
Of course you still have your online bingo cards to purchase. This is different from the money you spend to get in to the game of online bingo. Typically you have a range from £1 to £15, depending on the bingo website to buy 1 bingo card. We will say that a bingo site charges £6 for 6 bingo cards. The entrance fee was 5p and you just spent £6 pounds – you now have less than £14 in your bingo budget for the rest of the month – unless you hit the bingo jackpot!
The amount of money you want to spend will determine the online bingo wagers you make, but more than that you want to choose bingo wagers that will help you get the most out of your bingo budget each month. The lower priced games usually have smaller jackpots, but then again you might have a better chance of winning or at least playing more games of bingo online.

Online Bingo - Playing it Safe!

Bingo sites are everywhere you look, especially in the UK where online bingo has become an increasingly popular pasttime. There are a dazzling array of new online bingo sites popping up all the time, and it can be an aching temptation to try them all out, especially when you consider some of the seemingly outstanding promotions and opening specials so many of them seem to be offering. But the Internet is a wide open and largely unregulated space - so if you’re looking to play bingo online but you haven’t played before, how can you make sure you’ll be safe online?
In this article we’ll be taking a look at a few common sense tactics you can use to protect yourself against unscrupulous websites and unwelcome attacks by hackers.
First of all, unless you’ve got a recommendation from someone you trust impeccably, you should always do some research on a new bingo website you’re thinking of trying out - don’t just blindly go signing up to every one you see. Try googling the website’s name and see what kind of online bingo reviews come up.
Even better, find a website that does online bingo reviews that you can trust - such as bingostreet.com - that has objective reviews of the top bingo online sites out there, and see what they have to say about the site you were looking at. It’s far better to be educated than sorry.
Even if you decide to check out a new bingo online site against better advice, there are a few IT tips and tricks you can use to protect yourself. Firstly, either buy or download a good piece of antivirus software. If you want to do this on the cheap, it’s worth checking out AVG Antivirus, which offers a free version for home users.
This is a good choice because it comes with a plugin for your browser called LinkSafe that checks any links on screen against a database of known scams. If you’re heading into danger, the plugin will let you know.
Another great common sense tip is to make sure that the online bingo website respects the privacy of your personal information by encrypting it during signup. There’s an easy way to see if this is being done – simply have a look at the address being displayed in your browser’s address bar - when you sign up to play bingo online and register your details.
Normally you should see something like: http://your_website_name_here. But if the connection is being properly encrypted, it should instead have an S after the http part, so you’d see something like: https://your_website_name_here.
If you don’t see the ‘s’ then the connection isn’t being encrypted, and your personal information could be exposed to hackers.
Remember, it’s much better to visit bingo online sites you know are safe and that have been recommended to you either by a friend or by an online bingo review site you trust.
